About the game

• Unleash your inner cryptologist with Cryptix Touch, a simple, yet extremely addictive text game. The goal of the game is to decipher encrypted text and to recover myriads of memorable quotations by Einstein, Shakespeare, Plato and many other great minds.
  - Recover and learn thousands of great quotations.
  - Random shuffle (each quote is randomly selected and encrypted differently every time) is guaranteed to keep you occupied for days, if not months.
  - Play in vertical or horizontal mode.
  - Keep track of your best score, best time, number of solved puzzles etc.
  - Control the game difficulty by toggling the "Hints" and "Highlight Matches" options in the setup.
  

How to play

• The goal of the game is to decipher an encoded message, containing quotes by famous people.
  To crack the code the player must swap letters in the message by simply tapping on a letter. All occurrences of the selected letter in the text will be replaced by the player's new selection. If the "Highlight Matches" option is enabled, and correct letter is selected by the player, all occurances of the letter are automatically highlighted.
  If "Hints" option is selected, the player may choose to reveal up to three correct letters at random.
  Pressing the "New" button shuffles letters of a new message.

Scoring and Strategy

• Players are encouraged to decrypt the text with minimal number of letter substitutions and within minimal amount of time.
  - There is a penalty for each incorrect guess.
  - 15 seconds is given for deciphering each unique letter in the text.
  - Recovering the quote before the time expires yields time bonus.
  - "Hints", "Highlight Matches", and sound cues can be disabled in order to increase the difficulty of the game.
